Pedro Cruz is a 34-year-old welder who has always worked hard in construction to support himself and our family. Recently, Pedro was the victim of an aggravated assault that led to a serious car crash. As a result, he suffered a broken leg and now has long steel screws throughout his tibia. The injury has left him unable to move much, and our mom is doing her best to care for him at home.

Without health insurance, the costs of Pedro’s medical care have become overwhelming. He needs a second surgery to repair his leg, and the hospital bills are adding up quickly. Pedro’s injury has taken away his ability to work, and it’s been a huge challenge for him to adjust to this new reality.
