Help Pedro Cordero fight Lymphoma Cancer
Hi, my name is Sonia, and I am asking to fundraise for my dad Pedro Cordero.
About 2 months ago my dad started losing weight and loosing his appetite. He than started getting fever so he went to the ER. He was there for about 2 weeks and the diagnoses was that he had chronic liver failure and that he eventually is going to need a liver transplant. Although they gave him that diagnoses, they could not figure out why he kept getting fevers. They gave him antibiotics for any infection and after got discharged. He then went back to the ER because his fever was too high. That whole time my dad stopped working and so did my mom, so she can be there for my dad. He is currently still at the hospital and about a week ago they told us he has hodgkins lymphoma cancer. Doctors said he needs chemo right away and that it is curable, thanks be to God. I know many people know my dad and know he is a warrior of God, he is staying positive and knows God is with him.
We need help raising money to start the chemotherapy as soon as possible, since that's the most important thing to take care of right now. Hola, mi nombre es Sonia y estoy pidiendo una recaudación de fondos para mi papá Pedro Cordero.
Hace aproximadamente 2 meses, mi papá comenzó a perder peso y perder el apetito. Luego comenzó a tener fiebre, así que fue a la sala de emergencias. Estuvo allí durante aproximadamente 2 semanas y el diagnóstico fue que tenía insuficiencia hepática crónica y que eventualmente necesitaría un trasplante de hígado. Aunque le dieron ese diagnóstico, no pudieron entender por qué seguía teniendo fiebre. Le dieron antibióticos para cualquier infección y luego le dieron de alta. Luego regresó a la sala de emergencias porque su fiebre era demasiado alta. Todo ese tiempo mi papá dejó de trabajar y mi mamá también, para que ella pueda estar ahí para mi papá. Actualmente todavía está en el hospital y hace aproximadamente una semana nos dijeron que tiene cáncer de linfoma de Hodgkin. Los médicos dijeron que necesita quimioterapia de inmediato y que es curable, gracias a Dios. Sé que muchas personas conocen a mi papá y saben que es un guerrero de Dios, se mantiene positivo y sabe que Dios está con él. Necesitamos ayuda para recaudir dinero para comenzar la quimioterapia, ya que eso es lo mas importante ahorita.
