Help Pearl get Emergency Surgery

Hey everybody. This is Pearl, my mom's dog. She’s a two and a half year old pit mix who was adopted from Clare County Animal Shelter when she was a tiny puppy. She got out last night and went into the woods and had an encounter with a porcupine.
We brought her down to the emergency vet at MSU. The veterinarian and her team got as many quills out as they could, but it soon became clear that a handful of them had already begun to migrate into her muscle.
The vet recommended they keep her overnight and have the surgical team do imaging and then surgery to excise the quills this morning.
This was already going to be a hefty bill, but this morning my mom received a call from the MSU team who explained that the quill in her chest had migrated close to her heart. We’re now looking at a $10,000 veterinary bill.
This is way more than we can afford at the moment, but we’re doing everything we can to try to raise the funds so that my mom doesn’t lose her companion. She is so young and otherwise a very healthy and happy girl.
If anybody knows of any resources that could help please send them our way.
If anyone is in a position to make any kind of donation, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please share and spread this as far as possible. Anything helps.
Thanks ❤️
