Help Pearl Community Theatre Shine at SETC in Baltimore
Tax deductible
Pearl Community Theatre is a 501(c)3 established in 2020. Imagine - starting a community theatre in the middle of a pandemic! But we did it and have enjoyed generous support from the City of Pearl, in Pearl, Mississippi.
We competed at the Mississippi Theatre Association State Festival on Jan 17, 2025, presenting the competition one-act, "Act of Living" by LazyBee Scripts, at the 2025 Mississippi Theatre Association Festival in Meridian, MS. The show was directed by Clay Kirkland and featured 9 actors and 3 crew members.
Pearl Community Theatre received the Warren McDaniel Award for Best Production and advanced to the Southeastern Theatre Conference on March 19-22 in Baltimore, Maryland, for the show "Act of Living". We also received the following recognitions:
Best Ensemble
Best Scenic Design
Best Onstage Chemistry - Vance Woodall and Taylor Harris
Outstanding Achievement in Acting - Alison Stafford
In order to take this talented cast and crew to Baltimore, we need your help! The funds will be used for registration at SETC, transportation for cast, crew, and set, lodging, etc.
We can't wait to represent Mississippi and community theatres at SETC!
