Tonight while driving home from work I witnessed a dog get hit by a car. Of course the  drive fled the scene. The principal of a near by grade school, another man and two children helped locate the owner. Sarah the dogs owner moved here from Kansas City approximately six months ago and had been living in here vehicle with her daughter and the dog Peanutbutter. She recently was able to move into a house. Sarah really did not want to accept my help but when I spoke of possible internal injuries she was then willing to let me help. We took Peanutbutter to VCA80 but they were not able to perform the surgery on this poor pup. We will be taking Peanutbutter to Good Semeritan Animal hospital. He has a jaw bone that is split in two with half of the jaw bone and several teeth hanging off his face. I am trying to help Sarah raise the money so she can get this poor dogs injuries taken care of. If you are like me and can’t stand to see an animal in pain or neglected please help.
