My name is Makayla, and I’m reaching out for help for my six-year-old Chihuahua, Peanut. Just a few days ago, Peanut started showing signs of pain around his neck and had trouble lifting his head. Since then, things have gotten worse—he’s now struggling to get up and move at all. This is the first time Peanut has ever needed urgent care, and it’s heartbreaking to see him in pain and unable to enjoy his usual happy self.

Peanut has been my loyal companion for six years, always by my side through life’s ups and downs. Right now, I’m facing a lot of challenges. I’m in the process of moving, and with a baby on the way—due in October—finances are tighter than ever. The sudden need for emergency vet care has added a lot of stress to an already difficult time.
