Peanut's Bumps:
Following a Cushing's diagnosis in 2022, Peanut has been quite an expensive guy! To manage the excessive thirst and hunger symptoms that surface with Cushing's disease, as well as to keep the tumors on Peanut's adrenal glands at a minimum size, Peanut takes medication daily. This medication costs upwards of $100/month, which has added significant financial stress to Kylie (Peanut's Mom).
Another marker of Cushing's is skin issues, and Peanut is no exception. Recently, bumps on Peanut's back have grown to uncomfortable sizes. When Peanut gets excited, he likes to roll around. With bumps on your back, though, a guy can only roll around so much before breaking skin. Due to this, Peanut will need to get these bumps surgically removed, otherwise he will continue to break the skin on the bumps open and continue to hurt himself. This surgery requires Peanut to be intubated and anesthetized. Due to this, it will likely cost anywhere from $2500 to $5600.
Truly any amount helps, and if all you could do was give his story a read, I appreciate you! Thank you :)
