Peanut came into our lives in the most unexpected way—he followed us home one day and quickly became a cherished member of our family. His playful spirit and loving nature have brought so much joy to our home, and we can’t imagine life without him. Recently, we took Peanut in for a routine dental cleaning and, as part of the process, opted for the usual x-rays. That’s when we received some difficult news: Peanut has a diaphragmatic hernia.
This diagnosis was a shock, but we’re grateful it was caught early. The hernia is putting stress on Peanut’s other organs, and he needs surgery to relieve that pressure. The good news is that, because he’s young and we found the problem early, the surgery gives him an excellent chance to go on living a long, healthy life. We want nothing more than to see Peanut continue to thrive and share many more years of happiness with us.
We’re reaching out for help because the cost of surgery is more than we can manage on our own. We really want to spend another ten years with our beloved pet, and any support—no matter how small—will make a huge difference for Peanut. Thank you for considering helping us give him the healthy future he deserves.
