Peanut is a sweet Shepherd mix who was just days away from being euthanized at the Miami-Dade Animal Shelter. We were lucky enough to save his life and get him into a loving foster home, where he quickly showed how grateful and happy he was to be safe. For two days, Peanut was the perfect companion—playing with his toys, giving kisses, and enjoying every moment of his new life.

On the third day, Peanut was on his way to meet a potential adopter when he had a small accident and bit the tip of the transporter's finger. It was a heartbreaking setback, and Peanut was placed in quarantine for 10 days. During that time, he was confused and scared, but thanks to the outpouring of support from so many caring people, Peanut was given another chance. Miami-Dade allowed us to bring him back, and we found a wonderful adopter who wants to give Peanut a wonderful life!

To make sure Peanut is set up for success and to prevent any future incidents, we want to enroll him in a board and train program. This training will help Peanut feel comfortable and safe in his new home, giving him the best possible start. We are so grateful for any support you can give—every dollar truly makes a difference. Thank you for helping Peanut get the second chance he deserves!
