Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to ask for help for someone very special in our school community—Peaches, our beloved therapy bunny. Peaches is a Flemish Giant rabbit who provides emotional support to both children and adults at our school. She has become an important part of our classroom environment, offering comfort, calm, and connection to students who are navigating stress, anxiety, and other challenges.
Children today are facing more stressors than ever before, and finding meaningful ways to support their emotional well-being is incredibly important. Bringing Peaches into the classroom has been one of those ways. She has helped create a more peaceful, supportive space where students feel safe and cared for.
Recently, Peaches developed a serious eye infection that has been traced back to a bad tooth. In order to relieve her pain and prevent further complications, she needs surgery to remove the tooth. The procedure will also include anesthesia and follow-up care to ensure her full recovery.
I’m asking for your support to help Peaches get the care she needs so she can return to doing what she does best—helping our students feel safe, calm, and supported. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean so much to us. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page would also make a huge difference. Thank you for supporting Peaches and the students whose lives she touches every day.
With gratitude,
Susan Brackett
