My friend Payton and her family are suffering from toxic black mold after trying to remediate the flooring in their home. They are covered in rashes, faces broken out, eyes swollen, nose bleeds, and trouble breathing. They are miserable. It has been 5 days since the exposure to the mold and they are still suffering. They are a single income family (firefighter, EMT income) with 5 young children and they need help. They currently have no where to go and are staying in a hotel. The home is a rental and insurance will not cover or help them in any way. Once they find a place to go, they cannot take their belongings with them as their furniture, mattresses and porous items are now contaminated with mycotoxins.
