Help Trans Fight Health Insurance
Hello!
My name is Em. I'm a 21 year old trans man and I have recently started my journey to medically transition.
My transphobic health insurance is currently charging me $370 for two therapy sessions I had back in February that had nothing to do with my being transgender. While I am indeed fighting my health insurance company on this, I am uncertain whether or not I'll be successful in disputing the insurance claim denial. This unexpected bill is NOT something I can afford on top of all of my current bills!
On top of this unfair charge, I am short funds for my other bills (around $70) due to me having to take days off of work since I needed to handle legal matters to help me keep custody of my younger sibling.
I need the funds in less than a month.
Meeting my goal will allow me to continue paying my household bills and keep food on my table!
