Help Paya quit her fast food job for four months
Donation protected
Hi everyone, Paya here. I am a black autistic artist and youtuber, and I make video essays about the intersection between race and mental health.
When I’m not working on paintings or youtube videos, I am working at my day job as a fast food employee. This job, and all of the other ones I’ve had in my last six years of adulthood, is beginning to take a severe toll on my mental and physical health.
I’m fundraising to ask for help in saving enough money to cover rent, bills, groceries, emergency savings, and the cost of moving during the summer so that I can quit my fast food job for four months. Doing so would allow me to spend the next few months recovering my mental and physical health, but it would also allow me to focus all of my energy into art and youtube, which I have not yet been able to do.
If you’d like to hear more about the damage that working in the customer service industry can do to someone, I made a video about it here: https://youtu.be/FCnIdDV_EKg
Thank you so much to everyone who was able to donate, and for those who can’t, even just sharing is more than appreciated
Keep doing your best <3
