Help Pay Yadel's Medical Bills
Donation protected
On April 5, 2021, Yadel was attacked on the streets of Salt Lake City, in broad daylight, by a complete stranger.
Yadel was walking in downtown Salt Lake City, only blocks away from his home, on his way to get some lunch, when he suddenly heard someone approaching him from behind. With everything going on in the world today, he instantly noticed and became alert, but before he knew it, he was hit with an object on the back of his head so hard, his knees buckled, and his body came crashing down to the sidewalk.
In a daze, Yadel immediately felt himself losing consciousness, and in an effort to keep his brain active, he began screaming for help. Yadel remembers feeling wetness on the back of his head, reaching back with his hands, and feeling his fingers go inside a gaping head wound.
Yadel was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, had to get a CT scan, tetanus shot, and staples. He is back home and hanging in there, but without insurance, we are estimating the costs to be several thousand dollars, and we'd like to help Yadel as much as possible.
No one in this world should have to be afraid of leaving their home or being attacked for no reason at all. Thank you in advance for your time in reading this, sharing this, and donating anything you can.
