My son passed away in November 2024, and it’s been almost a year of trying to pay off his funeral expenses; he is a tribal member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and they have assisted with a partial payment of the the bill which helped a little, but the remaining balance was still high and me and my other kiddos have been able to bring it down a bit also with the help of a few friends out there we consider part of our family - thank y'all again from the bottom of my heart, everything is and was appreciated.
I’ve been doing everything I can to keep up, but with the rising cost of living and only being able to work a couple of hours each night, it’s been nearly impossible to get ahead.
I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but this has become too much for me to manage alone.
I would like to pay off the funeral home before November 2026 so there are no extra fees added on and make this much more difficult for myself and my family to adjust to life without my son.
Every cent raised through this GoFundMe will go directly to the funeral home to cover what’s left.
I also hope to take my son’s ashes back to the funeral home so they can fill memorial charms for my son's girls (my daughter-in-law and my granddaughters), his siblings, myself and whomever else had ordered a charm to fill.
This would mean so much to all of us and help bring some peace to our family during a very difficult time. ❣️
