I’m reaching out with hope and humility for help after an incredibly scary and emotional medical emergency involving my cat, Kitty.

Kitty swallowed a piece of string that became lodged and tangled in her intestines. It wasn’t able to pass on its own, and the damage became severe. Emergency surgery was the only option.

The experience was absolutely heartbreaking. I was already struggling to afford the hospital bills that were piling up, and I was faced with the devastating possibility of having to put her down, at only 5 years old, simply because I didn’t have the money to save her. That thought alone was devastating.

Thankfully, I was able to secure a pet loan to cover the full cost of her surgery and treatment. Because of that, Kitty is alive, healing, and doing well today. I am endlessly grateful ❤️

While my heart is full, my bank account is very much not. Between college debt and this completely unexpected emergency, the financial strain has been overwhelming.

If you have a fur baby of your own or know Kitty you know any amount of debt is worth saving them. Even if it takes me years to pay off, I am so happy I get to spend those years with Kitty still by my side.
