Help Us Pay My Mother’s Hospital Bills

My mom suffers from end-stage renal disease and has been doing dialysis for a little over ten years. She was hospitalized in January due to an abdominal infection and was unconscious in the ICU for a month before moving from care facility to care facility until she was discharged last week on June 22nd. Both her and my father are on disability, my father having survived cancer and was left unable to work.

She’s accumulated hospital bills for her hospital stay and dialysis, which she depends on to live, to the amount of almost $10,000 over the last 6 months. Their monthly disability income is just enough to cover living expenses and utilities.

It’s been emotionally and mentally taxing trying to figure out how we’re going to pay this debt and it’s taking a lot out of me to come out and create this, but I’ve seen how collective the internet can be to help others.
