Hello, this is Maggie Clark. On 9/21/24, I married my best friend of 20+ years. We had a honeymoon, did all the fun things, and made memories.

On 3/4/2025, Timothy Clark my 42-year-old husband of less than 6 months was diagnosed with stage 3-4 lung cancer. Due to changes within the company he worked for, he did not have insurance coverage at the time. We have not been able to afford the new insurance at my job. I make too much money ($127 over the limit) for SoonerCare.

I can't afford our apartment on my own, and it will take 3-5 months for his disability to be approved. It will cost $2k EACH for the CT and MRI, and about $1500 for the port to be set, which is altogether more than what I make in a month.

We have a 16-year-old son still in school.

Update 3/29/25: We got some good news this week!

Tim is still at St Francis. But we got a lot of good news! They found some concerning issues that had popped up that week. He had a heart cath installed successfully. No need for a blood transfusion. Only need the heart cath for a couple days. Unfortunately he does have a dvt in his legs and a small clot in his lungs. They will be putting him on blood thinners in the next couple days. The oncologist came by and we got the best news, the cancer hasn’t spread or got worse! “Nothing new”. They are looking into port placement and starting treatment this week! All of his care team has commented how, despite everything, he is very healthy and strong! Everyone is very excited about his progress. I foresee a lot meds to buy this coming week.
