Help for Max

Thanks for visiting our funding page. As you know, Max has been bravely battling testicular cancer, and is an inspiration for all of us!

Unfortunately, our insurance doesn't come close to covering all the expenses associated with his medical care. And financially, this couldn't have come at a worse time for us. We've been struggling month-to-month and were trying to get the house ready to put on the market when this news hit. Now we're just too busy caring for him, and need to put that off for the time being.

So our financial struggle is intense, to say the least. Anything you could give, as soon as possible, would really help us get through these next few months. While we care for Max, Mike and I are both putting in long, hard hours at work (including nights and weekends), but it's just not enough to make it through. 

As you can imagine, it's hard for us to ask for help, and we wouldn't be doing it if there was any other way.  If you are not able to give, we understand. But if you can, please know how deeply humbled and grateful we are!

Max Mogavero is my son.  He is a 24-year-old young man with a  disability, and so my husband and I have legal guardianship. Max is covered under out health insurance plan. Max is currently being treated for testicular cancer at the Monter Center in Lake Success New York.  We have costs over and above what our insurance covers, and are seeking help to cover those costs, and to keep our heads above water in the coming months as Max makes his journey toward health.
