In July 2016, at the age of 32, with 2 young children, my brother Mark was diagnosed with a rare and agressive cancer. Mark has had 3 surgeries. The first in July when cancer was diagnosed. That surgery did not get all the cancer so in September he had another surgery to remove all the remaining cancer and one at the begining of November to place a skin graft. Thankfully he is now cancer free.
Moving forwad he will need scans done every 3 months for 2 years to ensure the cancer does not return.
He has been out of work since September and may be off through the end of December while he heals.
