Help Pay Jelani's Funeral Expenses

Our beloved Jelani was killed Monday night by senseless gunfire just two weeks after his 19th birthday. He had the biggest personality in the world, and to all that knew and loved him, he was nothing but a beacon of love and joy. Even as a little kid, Jelani never met a stranger and his laughter and smile were most contagious. He meant everything to his friends and family and we are all devastated and heartbroken.

Jelani lived much of his life in Minneapolis but the vast majority of family are still in Kentucky so we are all frantically trying to scrape together funds to coordinate a memorial service in both locations in the upcoming weeks. Since he impacted people everywhere he went, there's no way we could have a gathering in one place and not the other.

We are still figuring out details, but any amount will be greatly appreciated and incredibly helpful.

Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers as this was entirely unexpected and we still can't wrap our minds around it.
