Help pay homage to the best guy Ive known, my dad

My Dad’s always meant the world to me, we had grown especially close over the last 9 years when he started to have health issues. The last few years has been tough, his COPD had gotten severe, along with other rising health issues, and being able to do basic tasks became impossible for him. My dad lived in a small town, Keller, on the Colville Indian Reservation with nothing close by, no stores, home health help, decent doctors or specialists. My daughter and I would try and come over as often as we could to clean his house, buy groceries, and help with dads ‘honey-do list’ as he couldn’t do anything physical due to his breathing.
On Nov 1st, 2022, after not being able to get ahold of my dad for a couple days, which was very odd, Tribal police did a welfare check, forced entry into his home, and found my dad had passed. His body finally decided it couldn’t take anymore, I’m thankful my daughter and I were able to come visit him a few weeks ago so he got to see us one last time.
My daughter and I made the 7-1/2 hour drive the night he was found, we’ve been on the go since, taking care of all the funeral arrangements and cleaning/packing his belongings.
The expenses and wondering how we’re going to take care of everything financially is starting to get scary.
We’re looking for help with his cremations costs, which is a few dollars shy of $3,000 for the basic services. I’d love to be eventually be able to get a headstone made with my dads name, his mom and brothers names on it as well so my daughter, family and friends have a place to visit and remember my dad and his family. The cheapest option that would fit all three names would be $1525.
My dad has a lot of belongings, tools and vehicles. We’re renting the largest dumpster we can get delivered to us to help with throw away stuff but the real costs will be trying to move everything we’re keeping back to the west side of the state where I live. We were looking into a 40’ shipping container, the cost to purchase a used container with delivery from Spokane to my dads house would be around $4500, it would be another $3000+ to get it picked up and delivered to my house. Plus the cost of moving the vehicles we’re keeping and other odds and ends. We’ve been looking into renting big U-Hauls and finding friends to help drive them back but the costs of those would still be fairly substantial.
Anyone who knew me, knew how important my dad was to me. Any donations would mean the world to my daughter and I, it helps get us that much closer to being able to pack up dads memories and bring them home with us ♥️
