Help Pay Gumi's Medical Bill

Hi! My name is Cassandra Nguyen, though most of you know me as Cassie. And if you know me, then no doubt you've heard me go on and on about my beloved cat Gumi. He's currently recovering from a major, life-saving surgery.

I adopted Gumi from a friend when he was only three months old, and we've been inseparable ever since. He turns two years old this coming May. He had been living a happy and healthy life up until about 5 days ago, when I came home from work and school to find that he hadn't touched his food. Multiple days and countless trips to vet centers and emergency rooms later, I'm given two options: either find the money to pay for surgery ASAP, or surrender Gumi to a shelter in hopes that someone else can. I would never be able to forgive myself for giving away my furry best friend while his life was at risk, so I did the only thing I could do and took out a loan for his medical expenses.

I am asking for help from anyone who can donate any amount of money, large or small, to help me pay for Gumi's medical bills. I am a first-generation college student and am simultaneously taking courses at UNT while working multiple jobs to keep myself afloat. Gumi's surgery/additional medical fees is a large financial burden for me to take on by myself, and as such donating any amount helps and is beyond appreciated.
