Help pay for Wilma's funeral expenses (Leukemia)

On Saturday November 6, 2021, Wilma was rushed to the hospital after her mom found her unresponsive with a low respiration. She was rushed to the hospital; multiple tests were run, and they discovered that she had Leukemia. Just like the news of Wilma’s diagnosis her decline came so unexpectedly that by the time everything was discovered it was too late. All her vital organs had been aggressively claimed by cancer and far too damaged (lungs, kidneys, liver, colon etc.) Her body could no longer keep fighting and she passed away hours later at the hospital. She left behind her parents and little brother Alex Omar (10) who are devastated and left in shock with their daughter’s passing. Wilma was so loved by her family, friends, and teachers. She had a happy & loving childhood. Her parents raised her to be kind, hardworking & independent. She learned how to cook at a very young age. She loved cooking meals for her parents/little brother and would not eat until everyone was at the dining table. She was always smiling, never complained and was always happy. In everyone's eyes she showed no signs & symptoms that she was sick or in any pain. So, the news is shocking for everyone that she is gone so suddenly.

Her family is now asking for assistance for Wilma’s upcoming funeral. So today we set up this GoFundMe page to help Wilma’s parents with funeral expenses. All donations will go directly to her parents. We met with the funeral director yesterday to finalize the total cost which will come around to $6,500 in total. So, a goal has been set for $6,500 to help Wilma’s parents cover Wilma’s funeral expenses and say their final goodbye to their little angel. We are truly grateful for all the support and acts of kindness in this difficult time

El Sabado Noviembre 6, 2021 Wilma fue trasladada de urgencia al hospital despues que su madre la encontro inconsciente con baja respiracion. La llevaron de urgencia al hospital donde le hicieron varias pruebas y descubrieron que tenia leucemia. Asi como recibimos la noticia del diagnostico de Wilma, su declina llego tan inesperadamente que cuando se descubrio la leucemia ya era demasiado tarde. Todos sus organos vitales habian sido agresivamente reclamados por el cancer y estaban demasiado danados (pulmones, rinones, higado, colon etc.) Su cuerpo ya no podia seguir luchando y fallecio horas despues en el hospital. Wilma dejo atras a sus padres y a su hermanito pequeno Alex Omar (10) quienes estan devastados y en estado de shock por el repentino fallecimiento de su hija.Wilma era muy amada por su familia,amigos y maestras. Tuvo una ninez llena de amor y felicidad. Sus padres la criaron para que fuera amable, trabajadora e independiente. Aprendio a cocinar a una edad muy temprana y le encantaba cocinar para sus padres/hermano pequeno y no queria comer hasta que todos estaban juntos en la mesa del comedor. Ella siempre estaba sonriendo, nunca se quejaba y siempre estaba feliz. A los ojos de todos, no mostro signos o sintomas de que estuviera enferma o con algun dolor. Asi que la noticia es un shock para todos de que ella se haya ido tan repentinamente.

Ahora su familia esta pidiendo ayuda para poder pagar el funeral de Wilma. Asi que hoy creamos esta pagina de GoFundMe para ayudar a los padres de Wilma con los gastos funerales. Todas las donaciones iran directamente a sus padres de Wilma. Ayer nos reunimos con el director de la funeraria para finalizar el costo total de su funeral, que rondara a los $6,500. Asi que establecimos una meta de $6,500 para ayudar a los padres de Wilma a cubrir los gastos funerales y despedirse definitivamente de su angelita. Estamos realmente agradecidos por todo el apoyo y las muestras de amabilidad en este momento tan dificil.
