Help fund Uni's Search Effort

 

Uni is her Everything, Sohee is completely devastated without her. Uni is a very loved and very special red and white husky. She is beloved by so many and we are all so worried for her well-being.

 

Since Uni went missing, Sohee and Eddie have exhausted every conceivable option available. For your reference, below is a summary of all the measures that have been taken to find Uni so far: 

 

SOCIAL MEDIA/ONLINE

·       Created Facebook group Finding Uni for community to track all search efforts and leads

·       Set up GoFundMe account to help offset the costs of K9 search/rescue service and reward money ($4,735 raised so far)

·       Story pitched and shared by Fox 12 Oregon on June 15 –

Posted on all social media platforms, including Reddit, neighbor, and nextdoor.

·       Posted on sites such as Pawboost and local Facebook groups for missing pets

·       Researched sites such as Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace and PetFinder 

 

LOCAL COMMUNITY

·       Reported Uni’s disappearance to local police departments, fire stations and county SAR

·       Hired pet finder International K9 search and rescue service

·       Notified shelters and rescues 

·       Used drones and hunting cameras 

·       Camped out overnight and set up a trap with Uni’s favorite foods, toys and household laundry 

·       Physically searched multiple areas, multiple times  

·       Created and distributed flyers all throughout the community 

 

Unfortunately, despite all our best efforts since Uni went missing, the collective search HAS NOT produced a single reported sighting of Uni yet.

 

As of June 19th, Sohee and Eddie are collaborating with a professional trapper. If Uni is still out there, this could be a very long journey for Sohee and Eddie. All donations will be given to them to help offset the costs of finding Uni.
