Cholecystectomy for Christmas

Well, health insurance sucks, money is tight, the holidays are expensive, and my gallbladder has decided to give up the ghost. Unfortunately, my doctor has advised that I not wait on the surgery, so my gallbladder is getting its eviction notice on Wednesday 12/15. With luck there won't be any stones blocking things and complicating matters. The surgery will cost $1500, which will all be out of pocket because we have not met our insurance deductible yet this year. I would love to say that we got this, but our emergency fund is nonexistant at the moment. If you want to help out, please do, as long as it won't put you in a bind!
