Help pay for the funeral of Sami Michael Fitsum

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sami Fitsum, who was a father, a husband, a brother a son a friend a co-worker a neighbor and a great man. Sami passed away from liver failure on Thursday, January 28, 2021 and went to enter the gates of Heaven. He was just 37 years old. He is survived by his wife and three young children, his father and mother, three brothers and one sister. His father was Fitsum Michael Shebatu wedi portsudan fithal care wedi batse.Sami was born in Sudan, Port Sudan on August 22, 1984 and grew up in Northern California.
Sami was a football star in high school and college. He was a natural athlete and played running back, corner back, and receiver. He loved to cook and made the best barbecue at every family occasion. He always made sure everyone felt welcome whenever he was around and was generous and always willing and ready to help anyone who needed it. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and for being protective of those he loved.
The Fitsum family is very grateful for the outpouring of prayers and support during this very difficult time.
This fundraising effort was created to help lessen the financial burden on the family with the memorial and burial costs and to provide support his three children.
