Surgery for nine year old Caio

I’m helping my beautiful friend André raise money to cover medical costs for his nine year old son Caio, who had an accident 2 days ago, after falling from a tree and badly fracturing and dislocating his arm. Caio’s injury was serious, and required intervention from an Ortheopedic Surgeon at Bali Royal Hospital.

I have known André for four and a half years. He is a performing artist, teacher and single Dad from Brazil, and I met him whilst he was teaching my children circus arts. As a performer, Covid has hit André hard, which means his medial insurance had expired when the accident happened, and he has little income. To cover the costs of treatment, André was forced to overdraft his credit card, which he now needs to repay within 31 days, but does not have the means to cover. Andre is from a humble family in Brazil. They are very concerned but do not have the means to support André. All up, the costs of treatment are around $2400.

Caio is now back home and his fracture has stabilised, but he is in a lot of pain, and both he and André are emotionally shaken up. Caio is an angel of a child, and his father André is someone who has given to so many children and people around the world. It would be gratefully received if the community could support André and his son in return.
