Hi y'all, we're here after some difficult months of "what and how's" in regards to our sweet rescue Sammy.
He was just recently diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure after months of an unclear heart and respiratory issue, and now are also looking into a potential mass after some initial treatments to reduce the fluid around his heart and lungs.
Sammy is a sweet boy that we've taken in and loved since 2017, right after the hurricanes that hit Florida, and has been an integral part of our family since. We estimated his age being around 2-3 when we got him, but we aren't fully sure. All we do know, is his lived a long, happy life since.
He's seemed otherwise the same healthy and go lucky pup that we've known, and our goal is to keep him comfortable and happy for as long as we can. But these medical bills keep adding up, especially after this recent trip to Urgent Care where we ranked up a recent bill of $1,100. We know everyone is struggling in this economy currently, so we know not everyone has the ability to give, but if you are able to please share. Any little bit helps, just to help cover some of these recent costs.
Thank you for reading, and for any help you can provide. Do not feel pressured to meet the goal as ANY little bit really does help. So we're grateful for it all. We will try to provide updates as often as we can.
