Hello everyone! I’m writing this on behalf of my lovely fiancé Rory. 

Rory took a bad fall a couple of days ago and broke both sides of his right ankle. He is going into surgery today, (3/29/2023) to put some screws and a plate in the left side of his ankle. 

After surgery he will have to be off his ankle for a full 6 weeks, after that he can slowly begin putting pressure on it, but he won’t be able to return to work for 3months after surgery. 

With Rory being off work for 3 months we also decided to sadly to postpone the wedding that was set to take place in September and the wedding celebration we were planning to do in Chicago. We are hoping to be married by late 2024. 

I know money is tight for everyone right now. We are asking that you contribute what you can to help with the cost of surgery and for bills and groceries while he is off work.

$8,000 - cost of surgery

$3,180 - 3 months rent

$1,500 - 3 months groceries

$2,320 - other bills (insurance payments, follow up appointments, electricity, phone bill, etc)
