Help Pay for Piper’s surgery
My friend, Sabina Hutchinson’s fur baby, Piper, was in the hospital and had extensive surgery.
On Saturday she started throwing up so much. They didn't know what was wrong, the next day she looked so sick, they rushed her to the vet hospital and they kept her there, to do x-rays. The X-rays showed an object of some sort. They gave her medication to try and get it to pass but nothing happened. They recommended she have surgery. On Monday, June 1st, she went in for surgery. When they opened her up they found a big piece of corn on the cob wrapped in hair. It was so big that it did so much damage to her intestine, that they had to remove part of her intestine. Thankfully the surgery was a success! She stayed a few days at the veterinarian hospital and is now home but in pain and sad.
This family has done so much for the community, their friends and their family and never asking for anything. My friend also lost her job due to Covid-19 so this surgery was a big hit as the bills reached almost $4000.
I know it’s a lot to ask when the world is in such hard times, but If you could spare any amount, I know that they would be so grateful.
