Our cat Phoenix was run over by a car speeding down our road on Tuesday morning, the driver was seen by a neighbour and all though they shouted for the driver to stop they just sped back up the road. Thankfully our neighbours know we have ginger cats so rang to see if it was one of ours and unfortunately

Phoenix had been hit and has a broken pelvis and many cuts on his back legs including one that goes as deep as his ankle bone. He will need to be kept in a cage for at least 8 weeks and may need surgery.

It was suggested to me by a friend to make a gofundme and after consideration I have decided to ask for help. It's not just the vet costs which are piling up but all the extra care he needs for the coming month as we need taxi's to take him to and from the vet as he can't travel on public transport.
