Help Pay for Pedro's Funeral

On March 29th, 2021, my father suddenly passed away. Pedro Brito was a hardworking man. He spent his days driving cabs in New York City and on the side, would bet on horse races to try and earn some cash. He loved horses so much, and he actually named 3 of his horses after my siblings and me. I remember my dad as a lifelong Yankees fan, and I will remember the nights we spent together watching games. Though he and my mom split when I was 9, my father was always there when I needed him, and he would always call me and tell me how proud he was of me. I wish he could've lived a bit longer so that he could see me graduate from Georgetown, get married, and have kids, but God decided that it was my dad's turn to go.
He did not have life insurance and we don’t have the funds to cover funeral expenses. All funds will be used to cover funeral expenses here and in the DR, shipping expenses, and other costs that have arisen from his death. We just want to lay him down to rest. I will be in charge of handling the money, and I will coordinate everything with my family so that no dollar gets wasted. I loved my dad dearly, and I know he loved me too. Pedro Brito, rest in peace. I'll see you when the time is right <3.
