It is Fly writing this, as Cat having a melt down over money and having to make sure Chrissy (alter) isn’t messing things up and causing system panic again. So we have done research on the therapists offering psychotherapy / psychodynamic therapy (UKCP and or BACP Rev) with attachment based work, developmental trauma, disassociation trauma, supervision and seeing what concessions they offer since we cannot work. We have early medical trauma from age 2 - 8, neglect and then loss of our biological mother at age 13. A few others after this that we aren’t able to disclose here that happened later. Claire was with child mental health services from age 14 and we have been in paid and unpaid services all our life. But only after an overdose later February have we become self aware as a system. We really need stabilisation work and real help with emotional regulation. This is Cat and Jack below.
for those that don’t know us, we are a diagnosed system with DDNOS which is basically OSDD and we have suspected autism. We also have depression, anxiety, PTSD, body dysmorphia, self harm, suicidal ideation and attempts and hey just grab a mental health bingo card.. and you would get a full house.
We are a system of 11 - Cat, Claire, Jack, Faust, Finn, Fly, Izzy, (baby), Bunny, Harper, Chrissy. that we know of. Some alters can remain dormant for decades. We don’t sure of the baby’s name yet, so no photos yet... we make these on a app that allows us to get the closest representation to how we look in the inner as possible.
the issue we have is that none of us have had any grounding work or help with trauma for the little ones ( Izzy and the other one) Due to the fact that you get terrible mental health help on NHS (particularly where we currently live) and they have neither the skills or resources to help. In fact they have placed us with a nurse practitioner instead of a psychotherapist for the past few months, cheaper we guess.
The therapy that covers what we need is £60 an hour and we are looking at ideally 6 months.. which is around £1500 (gfm fees come off that) this will hopefully mean we can get to Brighton during this time and get referred by the NHS to pay the rest of therapy or at least be close to this being organised. We might not get help from the NHS as a doctor needs to refer you, but we can at least try. Below is a photo of Claire and her mum.
we aren’t sure if we will get any donations .. fans asked us to post this so they could give some. But we needed to be convinced. We have always worked.. since Cat (who was running the body at the time) left school, she talked her way into college using our art portfolio as we failed all our exams due to trauma and brake down. Below is from the many hospital stays as a kid.
we are also looking at getting things for the system .. for young ones mostly, era specific toys from the late 70s and early 80s... so any help tracking things like - the original plastic ET doll from the movie, bean bag hacky sacks, old fashioned toys basically.. Izzy shows zero interest in modern toys .. it has to be things that have attachment. Maybe a white nose toy for the baby with heartbeat.
