I was in the middle of moving into my new home when my dog was involved in a hit and run accident. The vehicle a white minivan and was traveling up Trap Falls Road towards Huntington Road. The car did not slow, or stop to check if my dog was okay. Oscar currently has a broken front leg, and was rushed to Shoreline Animal Hospital in Shelton. We’re currently waiting on test results, and he is stable for the most part, but we’re concerned about the compound fracture to his leg. We have discussed the need for surgery, but we are concerned about being able to afford all the vet bills. 

Oscar has been the truest and the best friend I could have asked for, and I would do anything for him. For those of you who know me personally, you know and understand how much my dog means to me. I know times are difficult for everyone with the current situation, but I hope that you can find it in your hearts to help a lending hand.
