Hi all

I’m asking for your help please to bury our mother who was missing from all family and friends for the last 36 years.

A lot are aware of my story already as it’s been in newspapers and magazines and went viral on Facebook for several years now but heres a brief run down. I’ve been searching for our mum and my half brothers for many years now after mental illness (we think) caused her to leave everyones lives when I was just 4 (I’m now 41)

This was a global search as I live in Australia and carol was born in England so we didn’t know if she had returned there. After several years of pleas and dead ends we were notified in January of 2020 that my mum had passed away in Perth Western Australia

None of us got to meet her again

Finally now 12 months later they have confirmed her to be our mother via DNA and we need to have her cremated and would like to bring her  back to Melbourne for internment in Bendigo with other family.

We have the costs down to bare minimum of $3255.00 but this is not money that my siblings or I have at all after the awful covid year of 2020 and having our businesses closed and restricted for months and months during Melbourne lockdowns and being on such reduced income throughout 2020.. I am a sole mother of 4 teenage boys one with special needs honestly just living day to day as the savings went in 2020.

If anyone could help at all with even $5 towards funeral costs we would be eternally grateful.  Or if u can’t help financially maybe a share please?

If by some miracle anything above $3255 is raised a small portion may be used returning her ashes to Melbourne then the rest will be donated to women’s mental health network in Melbourne
