My dad passed away on March 28th by suicide, he left at a pretty crazy time, i just started drivers ed, all of my support team was out of town and it genuinely hit like a truck. He was a rock star, an unhealthy rock star, but a rock star none the less, he is my biggest idol, inspiration, and my best friend. My brothers and myself wanted to cremate him but we are all pretty dirt poor, and have other financial issues to add on, my dad sold all his guitars, music, and passions away for rent, food and trying to give myself a great life, he worked harder then anyone I know and even though he's gone im so proud of him, my older brother and myself are going to get tattoos with his ashes, make a vinyl of his original music, spread him around the world, and make vials to keep him with us. I dont expect much from all this and to be quite frank i doubt this idea a lot, but my family and myself would truly appreciate if you would help donate the money for our father.
Some fun facts about my dad: He wrote his song "Rebels" about how he wanted to run away with my mom to make a family of artists, his favorite food was chicken fried steak and gravy, he loved dinosaur jr and sonic youth, his favorite beers were Raineer and Bud Light, his old job (around 19 years old) was a skateboarder on team Zorlac, he always had band practice in our kitchen and would let me past to get food and drinks, he has a matching tattoo with myself on the back of his bicep that i designed, he used to have a guitar class he would teach in our living room, he first moved to New Mexico after leaving Texas, he has bird tattoos on his chest in remembrance of my other older brother who died at birth, my dads favorite pets were our 3 parrots, clifton, jalapeño, and houdini, he has a book with quotes from his friends that he thought were funny, my dad is a REALLY good artist (musically and drawing wise), my dad gave the best-worst advice (like punch the biggest guy at a new place), he was overly the coolest dude ive ever had the pleasure of knowing and i hope everybody who knew him remembers him for the cool dude he was while living rather then how he went out, think of it more that he exploded into stardust and is now rocking out with Eddie Van Halen in the clouds...
