This is mocha, she's a delightful bundle of joy. Mocha is not just a pet, she is the friend I've always wanted when I felt isolated and alone. My sweet baby, my dream pet, and one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Despite the very little time that she's been with me, she has managed to bring so much light into me and my family's life. During the several nights that I would cry on my bedroom floor, she would always run to me and sit by my side. She never knew why I was sad, but she always felt that it was her job to be there. My sweet girl Mocha is currently suffering with severe digestion block, which is very deadly for a bunny. After she was rushed to the vet at 7pm, by 12pm we received the devastating news. Given how sensitives bunnies are, it would cost about $8,000 for a specialist to operate on her. I was informed that if we are not able to operate on my sweet girl, she will pass. Knowing my financial situation, they suggested that euthanize her that night. But I couldn't just put my baby down in what she viewed as a scary place. After all of the trauma that she endured, from x-rays, to several blood tests, she deserved to be in her safe space surrounded by her family. As I'm writing this, she is currently by my side fighting for her life. Although we could barely get her to drink or eat , she still manages to stay the lovely sweet girl that her mommy loves so very much.

I'm currently a freshmen in college. On days that I have class, my little sister cares for her. They've built such a strong bond as well, whenever my sister enters the room she will jump around with excitement.

I have been preparing for finals as well as trying my hardest to complete the handmade items that I sell to support Mocha and help my family. Last night's emergency vet visit fee is something I cannot afford. All of the tests and x-rays added up to $1,400. If its in your heart to donate and help me, mocha and my family, it will be so greatly appreciated.
