Hello, I’m Mason and I currently suffer from extreme macromastia. This is a condition that causes abnormally large breasts due to excessive tissue. Every day, the weight from my chest pushes down on my body and causes extreme pain for my lower back, my knees, shoulders, and neck.

This results in constant lower back pain, struggles to do daily tasks, and general dissatisfaction with life. There are no supports for my chest that can carry their weight. Due to this, I’m forced to shove them up with a binding material, which is uncomfortable and sometimes even painful when wearing it for too long.

After discussions with surgeons for breast reductions, I was told they’d only be able to go down a cup or two due to my size. This would leave me around a D/F, still way too much for my ~5ft stature. This resulted in me having to consult with other types of plastic surgeons, which is where I found that my only luck is with a subcutaneous mastectomy. With this surgery, I’d be able to decide how flat I want my chest to be and to rid myself of the physical ailments associated with the size of my breasts.

Any donations are appreciated as this would be a life-changing surgery. It’s prevented me from enjoying so much of my life, and sharing also does a tremendous job of getting eyes on the fundraiser.

My quote for the surgery was 12,800, so I’ve made the goal reflect that. I only want to be free of the weight and pain I suffer with daily. Due to the weight being pushed onto me from my chest, I am unable to work as I cannot walk for long periods of time or lift objects without feeling agonizing pain in my back. This surgery would allow me to be able to start my life and work towards my goals for the future.

I would provide more photos, but even just the cover image makes me feel utterly humiliated. The mental ramifications my chest has had on me are severe, to the point that even putting this cover photo up felt embarrassing and uncomfortable. Please understand that’s the reason for the lack of side view/other angles.
