Hello! My name is Kora. I just recently turned 2 under my mommy's loving care. My first home abused me as a puppy, and I was constantly returned to the shelter. My mommy adopted me from the Humane Society in November of 2023, and since then, I have received a lot of love and care! I have an older brother named Kyo who has night zoomies and even a small stuffed turtle that I hold in my mouth when my mommy comes home because I have a lot of big, happy emotions! I even learned some fun tricks, like learning how to kiss my mommy on command! I also love to cuddle and take naps with mommy every day, and play with my friends at the dog park. When my mommy is doing homework at her desk, I like to lie underneath her legs, because I love my mommy so much and I want to be with her forever

This year, I've been really sick and struggling with a lot of different health issues. So far, we have been covering these bills and medications out of pocket, but I really need your help now. This morning, I was diagnosed with Thymoma Cancer. My doctors said that without surgery, I won't live past another year. We don't have pet insurance, unfortunately, but we are working on getting it to try to help with the cost of surgery. However, they require the full payment up front sooner rather than later. I really don't want to leave my mommy all alone and go to heaven. Please help me get healthy and have a happy ending with my mommy for a long, long time. Thank you!
