Kara adopted Kilo when he was a few years old. He’s been her baby since their first outdoor run. She’s given him the best life, including naming her business after him.

Recently, he became sick, wouldn’t eat or play, and began losing weight. Tests were run and came back negative. More weight was lost, more IVs inserted and still no answers. An exploratory surgery, more IVs, and more sleepless nights for Kara. They’ve been through a rollercoaster of showing signs of improvement, then back to vomiting/diarrhea, still without a diagnosis. They are cautiously hopeful right now, but the week thus far in the puppy hospital is expensive. The medications, IVs… are all adding up quickly. Also, the financial loss for Kara has been a lot. She has been rescheduling clients to be there for him while he’s been sick.

Kara started her own business during the pandemic, and runs it by herself. Her, and her fiancé, Kevin, have another pup, Koda, who misses his brother. Kara is a hardworking and inspiring woman, who is always ready to help. In this time, we are asking for your help.
