Help pay for Giskard’s life saving medical treatment

My name is Andrew and I am trying to help save the life of my girlfriend’s handsome beast, Giskard, the magnificent. He is a truly wonderful individual and unlike most other cats. We have become family.

Giskard has recently developed hyperthyroidism. Unfortunately the treatment prescribed (methimazole) is not working to treat the disease and is giving him unpleasant side effects. After discussing with the vet it seems that the only other treatment suitable for him is radioiodine therapy. However, this isn’t cheap, and he has already reached the limit of what his insurance will cover. The vet has made it clear that without treatment the condition will continue to worsen and become terminal.
