Help pay for Ginny's funeral costs

Hi, my name is Jenny Alves, daughter of Ginny. My sister Julie and I have started this Go Fund Me due to our mother's recent passing on February 10th, 2022. We are reaching out to friends and family on this platform in hopes of raising enough money the give Ginny the proper burial that she deserves. My mom was the most loving, patient, and giving mother we could ever ask for. Ginny was a middle school math teacher for many years at Park View, Bain, and Western Hills, where all faculty and students loved her. Since losing our father in 2010, Ginny has struggled with both her mental and physical health. Unfortunately, our mom needed around-the-clock care over the last two months and was living in a nursing home. While this environment was the best option for her, it was also where she caught COVID. She was then transferred to the ICU at Kent Hospital, where she put up an amazing fight for the next two weeks. Eventually, all of her organs started to fail, and we were faced with the gut-wrenching decision to take her off of life support. With it being just my sister and me, and never having to do anything like this before, we ask for any help you could give. Thank you for reading our mom's story.
