Fritz is a 2 year old german shepherd, he was found on the streets of Los Alamitos October 2024. We fostered him from Long Beach Animal Shelter in January 2025, where he was suffering extreme anxiety and other health conditions. We fell in love and offically adopted him in May 2025. Unfortunately he tested positive for heartworm disease shortly after his adoption (meaning we’re now financially responsible). The cost of treatment is quite expensive and we were unprepared. We have already paid $4000 for diagnostics and medication and he still needs 3 injections of medication in August. We would appreciate any help to get Fritz healthy and back to his playful self.
