Hello wonderful supporters,
Can you so kindly help to cover the huge vet and food bills for the many cats at Maria’s Cathouse?
Maria runs a whole rescue and shelter completely alone. She is totally dependent on the kindness of donors to help over 130 cats in her care and many others that she temporarily fosters, as well as the colonies of cats she looks after.
Maria’s Cathouse mostly takes in cats with complex and long term health issues and disabilities. The vet bills for treating these cats is always high and a constant worry for Maria.
It also costs a great deal to feed so many cats, especially as many require special diets.
Maria also has a large number of cats who are positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). These cats are very hard to find rescue space for or get adopted, as FeLV is highly contagious and these cats have to be isolated from cats without the virus.
FeLV Positive cats, like Harry in the photo, have terribly weakened immune systems and they have an increased chance of catching diseases and suffering from more extreme symptoms.
Can you kindly help with the never-ending vet and food bills for the cats Maria cares for? Every single donation is so gratefully received. Thank you so very much, none of Maria’s work is possible without your donations ❤️
