Please Pray:

A few days after arriving in Canada, my parents helped me secure loans for the vet school tuition costs in Edinburgh. We all co-signed at three different banks for more than $200,000 in professional student lines of credit.

For the past month and a half, it seemed like the full amount(s) would be approved. Then unexpectedly, all three banks declined the applications, citing that I needed to find an alternative co-signer(s).

I am scheduled to fly to Scotland next week on September 9th at 7pm and am now facing a difficult decision about whether or not I should get on that plane.

I needs an additional minimum of $40,000 to pay for my first year's expenses.

Through the whole process, God has already faithfully provided:

A wonderful Christian roommate

A great place for me and two other students to live

Provincial and federal Canadian student loans

And an incredible $50,000 scholarship from the University of Edinburgh!

(of approximately 200 international and masters students who applied, I was one of only seven who received this scholarship)

My lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian is so very close. I have worked hard for many years, constantly taking small steps and big leaps of faith to make this happen. If Edinburgh is where God is leading me, I am asking Him to provide everything I need to go. If He is redirecting me, I am asking Him to make that clear too.

Would you please pray specifically for:

Provision — that God would provide the remaining $40,000 if vet studies at the University of Edinburgh is His direction for me.

Direction — that I would have clear wisdom about whether I should get on the plane on September 9th.

Peace — that I would not make this decision out of fear, pressure, or anxiety.

I am trusting God to continue to lead and provide for me and to supernaturally make the next step clear. We need a miracle!
