Hi my name is Leslie. I am coach Juan Hernandez oldest daughter. I am making this GoFundMe account to be able to fundraise for my dads eye surgery and medical bills. My dads health has declined a lot in the past 5-6 months. As many of you know, he has lost 95% of his vision. He stopped coaching 3 months ago because of kidney failure issue. My dad has been in and out from the hospital, due to his kidney failing and now because of his eyesight. He doesn't have health insurance and you know the medical bills are SUPER HIGH. As of right now he is not able to work, or train his kids. He cant drive or do much without my moms help which is making everything difficult for us. I know my dad is very known and loved by the boxing community and by many other friends who known him for the past couple years. Doctors have gave us hope of him recovering his eyesight with surgery, which will be around $12,000 total. The surgery can be as soon as 3 weeks but we need the money to make it happen. So im reaching out to see if anyone is able to help us with anything at this moment. The more time we let pass the worst it gets.
