Help pay for expenses and home repairs

People that know Benny and his family know that his dad Nicolas had a horrible motorcycle accident that changed his and his families lives forever.

Passing through Orlando while riding with his Vietnam brotherhood motorcycle club to Daytona Beach for bike week. He happened to be in the back of the pack where they found themselves in stand still rush hour traffic when an elderly driver in a van towing a trailer just smashed right into the back of him without even breaking. Sending him head over heels to just about the front of the pack. He was air lifted to Orlando regional medical center in really bad shape. But the brain injury/skull fracture was definitely the worst of it. Luckily also stuck in traffic were nurses and I believe a doctor that probably saved his life on scene. But mentally and physically he would never be the same again.

 

Benjamin and his mother took on home care for him as he was unable to care for himself or leave his hospital bed. The family cared for him and his every need until he passed away on 3/31/22.

 

Last summer they used their life savings to do some much needed home repair using a "friend" who worked for a licensed company. This turned out to be a complete nightmare where the 15k was pocketed by that company but the home sits unfinished and in very bad condition today. The home is no longer safe from the outside elements.

Now without their supplemental income and total loss of the funds to the scammer for the home repairs, they're in a bad financial place. I hope that friends and family could step in and raise the funds together to help this family to recover financially and emotionally.
