Help w Evalyn’s medical Bills & adaptive equipment

Hi my name is Elysia and I am trying to help raise funds to cover the medical bills as well as help cover the cost of adaptive medical equipment and other necessary items she will need that is not being covered by insurance for my 5 year old daughter Evalyn. Evalyn had been diagnosed with Covid on Monday August 30, 2021. She has since been hospitalized many numerous times since she first had Covid Aug 2021. Where she has needed to be transferred by ambulance from Rockford, Illinois to Madison ,Wisconsin to UW American Children’s Hospital. The doctors believed that Evalyn had suffered encephalitis of the brain caused by Covid. She has had a very slow recovery with multiple specialists and therapist to help her slowly get back to where she was before Covid. 

We have since found out that she needs oxygen while sick as well as while sleeping due to a severe obstructive apnea as well as asthma. She was diagnosed with Adrenal Insufficiency in September of 2022 so far we believe this is also an affect of Covid. 

There is still so much testing needing to be done and more specialists that we have been seeing to try and figure out why Evalyn continues to have so many reoccurring infections and why they affect her so severely.   

Our insurance will only cover so much and then we will have to pay the rest out of pocket. My daughter stays in a mostly unresponsive state for several hours a day during most illnesses some days she will only stay awake for 3-4 hours a day. When she is awake she has to deal with regressions and seizure activity due to the stress on her body from illnesses that would normally not be as severe.  We are asking for help for her medical expenses for the transfers to and from hospitals by ambulance, as well as any possible tests that will be needed to help Evalyn get through this in the future. And covering any additional costs for medical adaptive equipment that is not fully covered by insurance.  Thank you so much for all the love , support, and prayers from all our friends and family we greatly appreciate all of you.
