Eric Mitchell was 21 years old. He was the son of Ken and Jennifer Mitchell, and brother to Tom and Abby Mitchell.

Eric has had asthma for all of his life, but it hasn't been much of an issue in recent years. He rarely had to use an inhaler,  and it has been years since he was hospitalized for a major asthma incident. Earlier this morning, 5 days before his 22nd birthday, he passed away suddenly due to complications from the asthma. There were no previous warning signs, and he was living a normal life the day before.

Eric was looking to join a skilled labor trade as a career path, but he wasn't entirely sure what he wanted to do. And due to COVID-19, he has had trouble finding a job this year. He had no life insurance plan, and therefore has no way to pay for any funeral expenses.
